| Bio: | "Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body. But rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totaly worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a ride!" Based on that saying, my life is, and pretty much has been, right on track. I try my best to live life day to day, moment by moment, remember the good times, learn from the bad times, and move on. And on and on and on. I am fully convinced that while I occupy space on this earth, there will never be a point in time when I am complete, knowing everything I have to know, having done everything that I want to do, seeing everything I want to see, being "the" person I strive to be. I am also fully convinced that if I did not possess a sense of humour, however warped it may be, I would be an alcoholic or crack addict or perhaps locked up for murder - something like that. I laugh often to keep myself from crying - or worse. However, regardless of life's triumphs and trials, mountains and summits, curve balls, blinders, gut-wrenching moments, etc. etc. etc., things happen for a reason. What exactly it is I have absolutely NO CLUE and I'm not holding my breathe in anticipation of someday, somehow, finding out. I use LJ to memorialize my life, be it exciting, boring, happy, or sad. It is what it is. I am who I am. All I can say is if you like me, great!! If not, sucks to be you. :-P | |
